Safari Themed Baby Shower

Wow! Did I have the most perfect baby shower thrown by my mom and mother in law. They did such an amazing job showering me and spoiling baby boy! In this post, I am going to cover all of the details of my baby shower such as food, dessert, and share baby boys name (yay!).

My mother in law did all of the food for the shower and did she hit it on the nail. Everyone enjoyed all of the bite sized foods that were available. Most of the shower, I am pretty sure you could find me near the food table with basically everyone else. I got some shots of the different foods that we offered during the shower. Let me know which ones you would go crazy over!

Dessert. As most of you know, I am not a huge cake fan. But my mom did an amazing job picking out a cake for the shower. It was beautiful and perfect for the theme. She also did cake pops which were amazing. The cake and cake pops were done by Sweet Arts in Tracy, CA (which is my hometown).

BLAKE DEAN BOTKIN. That is baby boys name! Finally the secret is out. I have been dying to share with you guys. Blake is something that we came up with on our honeymoon almost two years ago. We sat at the pool bar for hours coming up with our future children’s names while drinking and laughing together. Dean is my grandpas, dads and brothers middle name so we decided to keep that family tradition going. My dad’s nickname was BB while growing up and so now little Blake will also have the initials BB and we plan to use that as a nickname for him as well.

We are so excited that we only have 9 more weeks till Blake comes. We cannot wait till we get to hold him in our arms.
