Why Fall is My Favorite Season
As the leaves start to change and the wind has a bit of a chill factor, I start to become the happiest person on earth. Fall has become my favorite season within the last couple years and here’s why.
Summer was always my favorite season because I loved being on the boat, going to the beach, or hanging out by the pool. Now that I really don’t have time to do these things, my thoughts have changed on this. We moved to San Diego because Joe and I both thought we were beach people and wanted warm weather all year long. But after being there for 2 years and making trips up to South Lake Tahoe to visit family, we decided that we loved the mountains more. This is when we decided to move to Colorado.
Those trips to Tahoe also led to my love for fall. We would cuddle on the couch while the fire was burning, and watching our favorite shows. The leaves changing and a bit of a chill which makes sweaters so perfect to wear. I love cuddling up in my favorite sweaters and leggings and don’t forget the cozy socks.
Colorado has been amazing and it has made me appreciate the mountains even more than I have before. We have been exploring all of the mountain towns and falling more in love with this state. Though I have not lived here for a full year yet, fall will be my favorite season. I am sure that there are beautiful times of each season but fall is the perfect mixture of them all.
