Unique Groomsmen Gift
Prior to our wedding, my now husband and I spent days looking online for the perfect groomsmen gift for each of his groomsmen. It’s difficult to try and come up with the perfect gift, especially when all of the ideas are essentially the exact same just with different words or colors. When it comes to researching things, my husband looks at every detail until he has exhausted all options (one of the reasons I love the guy, and why wedding planning was such a breeze for me). He got frustrated because it seemed like every site we visited online had some sort of flask, knife or beer glass. Don’t get me wrong, those are great gifts but we wanted to do something different, something special and something that the groomsmen could actually use all the time.
The first thing that made me realize that a Jord Watch would be the perfect groomsmen gift is the overall style of the watch. We looked at a lot of wood watches online and all of the other companies had very similar styles to each other. Again, we wanted something different and the Jord watch fit that bill. Second, the color options! The groomsmen wore navy blue suits for the wedding and the navy face on the Frankie watch matched perfectly so they could actually wear and enjoy the watches during the wedding. Lastly, the engraving and sizing option was the icing on the cake! One rule for the perfect groomsmen gift is to make sure it is personalized for each of the guys. It is something that they can take with them and use all the time, which is what a true groomsmen gift should be.
The watches were truly the perfect gift and it made for a special moment when the guys realized that each of their watches were sized and engraved for each of them. We actually received a lot of compliments on the idea, so now with the new year, we know what we are doing for birthday gifts!
